Designed under the creative direction of JD-Etienne Design Studio, The “B Chair” is a re-interpretation of the traditional Mexican “banquet” chair. Although the original pieces can not be considered a craftsmanship piece or has any significant cultural value, this anonymous and Iconic design is wide spread across Mexico.
"Silla B" pays homage and presents a fresh interpretation of it with vibrant colors and shapes that prevent the production issues commonly observed on this popular product.
“B Chair” is featured in “The Mexican Chair : Design and Identity Exhibition” curated by Ana Elena Mallet for the Franz Mayer Museum in 2016
