I’m Norberto Sanchez an industrial designer/design researcher. Currently, I’m Sr. Industrial Designer at SharkNinja focusing on developing small home appliances where I've led Design programs for global markets, taking projects from concept to market and collaborating with overseas developing partners, earning the Japanese "Good Design award" recognitions in 2021. Before that, I worked as a Design Manager at Ofimodul, an office furniture company in Monterrey, MX; Where I established the Design department, developing methodologies, roadmaps, and product strategies while leading the design team.
In the past, I collaborated with Higher education Institutions to teach design studios and core skill courses, finding the experience highly motivating and rewarding.
I'm also a DIY and maker enthusiast, always looking for new technologies and how they can integrate into the design process. Since my Masters’ Studies, I've worked with Virtual reality tools and their future impact on design, and research that I would like to continue if I had the fortune of joining your staff.
